About game

Cellmons is an innovative multiplayer game, merging rules of collectible card games with role playing game mechanics. Participants connect to the central server through the Internet.

Players can create and evolve Avatars from the world of Cellmons. During the game Avatars gain experience, become stronger and can use increasingly powerful spells. The match between players is based on coming up with your own strategy in attack, defence and choice of spell from the deck, which you have earlier prepared. The one who wins is usually the person who can predict their enemy's moves more accurately. The results of your fights affect your Avatar’s further progress and it’s standings within the Cellmons world hierarchy.

Although you won’t find sophisticated 3D graphics or other fireworks, we guarantee that you will find interesting rules, carefully thought out and unique Avatars and a lot of possibilities. It’s easy to start, but hard to become a master.

 

History

Welcome to the world of Etheria, the Land of Might and Magic.

At the beginning, there was only Essence, surrounding and molding everything in Etheria.

Original life was created from it. Thousands of years passed before the inhabitants of Etheria discovered the existence of The Power, from which everything in their world began. They started to learn how to use this Power, which was inside of them from the moment they were born. Some people were using it to help others. However, others exploited it for their own profit. Along with knowledge, the desire for power appeared.

It was the beginning of the Century of Disharmony, and the Schools of Power emerged.

School of Divination – Its founders believe that Essence is a gift from the Almighty Being. It can only be used to bring peace and well-being to Etherians. Members of this school have a duty to fight off any acts of evil, especially when Essence is involved.

School of Necromancy – The rituals performed by its members are often too cruel to be described. These acts of pure evil bring horrifying pain and despair to innocent Etherians. They use the Power of Essence for their own profit.

Natural conflict has broken out between these two schools, escalating into all out war. It is clear that this war will determine the future of this World.

Etherians, which didn’t identify themselves with either, have created their own academies. Officially they don’t support any side of the conflict, yet still have to take part in it.

School of Combat – Its members devote themselves to the art of war and rituals, which allow them to perform amazing and heroic deeds emphasizing the power of the human body. They use the power of Essence to train their body to perfection.

School of Elementalism – Its members have chosen a philosophy of unifying with nature. They derive their knowledge from the 4 elements: Wind, Water, Fire and Earth. They search for a method that will allow them to use these elements according to their will by embracing Essence.

School of Arcane – Its members study the mechanisms which rule the Essence. Using this knowledge they master the ability to manipulate time and matter.

School of Technology – The scholars of this school preach that there is nothing that cannot be done in this world and, in most cases, they are right.

Regulations don’t forbid studying multiple Schools, however, followers of Necromancy will never be able to understand Divination’s teachings, and vice versa.
